Bank Holiday Blues…& Roots & Americana

Well we have been awful quite these last few weeks as we are hard at work on our latest album. Along the way we’ve built up a bank of photos, videos, and fresh music to share and we’re nearly ready to let the cat out o’ the bag. Get ready for some big news come September but for now…

As we slink into this much needed bank holiday weekend we are thrilled to be playing 2 great gigs over the next few days. Tonight our residency continues at The Monarch with our August edition of Chalk Farm Folk. Joined by Gian Luca, Hattie Whitehead, and Black River Wild, we will be playing full band with free entry.

Saturday afternoon we shall be taking the ‘Before The Goldrush’ Stage at the Air Balloon Garden Party in Coulsdon. Our stage time should be just after 1pm for an acoustic duo set. For tickets and news of the festival you can check out the festival’s website HERE.

Chalk Farm Folk Tonight

Londoners – join us this evening for an bill of Americana and Blues at The Monarch in Camden! With free entry and doors from 7:30pm, we’ll be warming up the night with a duo set of some tunes from the forthcoming 3rd album. (We’re back in the studio Sunday morning so awfully soon, the smoke should clear and and we will have a single ready for your ears in no time!) Following us this evening will be 2 fellow Soup Studio comrades: Ollie Seymour-Marsh & Friends & Golden Spike (nee the Tender Hips) both of which are burgeoning new formations and sure to make a splash on the local Americana scene. Closing the night will be Jimmy Regal & The Royals, ever worth the wait so plan to stay til the end.  Bound to be a cracker. x
